Planning Commissioner Koos will continue to ensure that projects comply with the City’s zoning regulations and its general plan.
Brea, CA—On January 18, 2011 the Brea City Council voted to reappoint John Koos to the Brea Planning Commission.
Originally appointed in 2007, Koos will begin his second term as City of Brea Planning Commissioner and serve for an additional four years.
“It is humbling to be given the opportunity to continue to serve on behalf of the Brea City Council and its residents,” Koos said. “I will continue to ensure that projects that come before the commission not only comply with city zoning regulations but that their impacts are positive and function to further enrich our city.”
Koos, a Founding Principal at Core Development Services—a firm that offers an integrated suite of site acquisition, planning, construction management and design services, brings years of planning experience to the Brea Planning Commission.
In addition to managing his own successful firm, Koos holds an Urban and Regional Planning degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and starting in 1998, also served two terms as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Anaheim.
