As a panelist on Infrastructure Innovation, Koos will demonstrate how technology is making way for better, quicker wireless services
Irvine, CA—The Urban Land Institute’s Infrastructure Initiative Council will host a panel of experts next week whose discussion promises to move “Beyond Traditional Infrastructure.” Instead panelists will focus on infrastructure systems that are using technology as the primary tool for meeting the ever changing demands of a modern society.
John Koos, Planning Commissioner for the City of Brea and Founding Principal at Core Development Services, is one of four experts invited to participate on the panel. As an experienced urban planner and wireless site developer, it comes to no surprise that Koos be asked to share his unique perspective on how technology is changing the world of telecommunications.
“Increasing demands for extensive and faster wireless connections as well for sophisticated wireless broadband internet services require that the telecommunication industry continue to innovate and push” Koos explains, “yet even with the capabilities of today’s wireless devices, challenges remain.”
For the telecommunications industry in particular, current challenges include how to create a system that can not only handle increasing amounts of data but that functions just as quickly, if not quicker. “It then becomes my job, as well as that of other industry leaders, to make sure we continue to pursue appropriate technological solutions and build the necessary infrastructure to house these technologies,” Koos concluded.
The Urban Land Institute will host the “Beyond Traditional Infrastructure” panel on Thursday, June 2 at 7:30am at the UC Irvine Student Center. For information on how you can attend this event, or information regarding Mr. Koos or Core Development Services, please visit www.core.us.com
